The following graph shows actual mileage numbers (in L/100 km) for a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am over the course of a year. Driving was done mainly on highways during rush hour with 2 separate road trips (highways with little to no traffic) and one short stretch of mostly city driving. These special occurances are highlighted on the graph. Mileage numbers are bracketed per 4 measurements and the high and low values are taken. Each 4 measurements roughly equates to one month worth of driving, but this is not always the case.
