What is it?

Screenshot of a 4 card game.Entropy Solitaire is a card game that my brother and I wrote in bastardized C for Windows a couple years back under the oh-so-creative name of No Name Solitaire. While the game shares some common traits with a solitaire called Calculation Solitaire, I have not seen this specific incarnation anywhere. Therefore, I claim that this card game is unique.

In 2003, Jasper, Dan, and I ported No Name Solitaire to the BlackBerry 72x0 using Java for the 2003 BlackBerry programming contest under the name Solitaire Squared. This project went on to place second in its division.

In 2007, I merged the two projects together into a new game called Entropy Solitaire written in C#. This version has features such as saving in-progress games, recording a played game, and a tutorial on how to play the game. It is still a work in progress, but an Alpha version is available for download.
